China Star has replaced Great Wall as our go-to Chinese restaurant in town. It's fantastic quality for the price. The Kung Pao chicken is amazing, the egg rolls taste fresh, and the Sweet & Sour chicken is clearly handmade. I am sooo glad our friends turned us on to this place.
Frankly, we're likely never ordering from Great Wall again despite being very regular customers for 9 years now.
Oh! And China Star has online ordering through EatStreet. That clears up any translation problems, and makes it a breeze to get exactly what we want and pay for it ahead of time. Amazing. -

This was literally, the worst Chinese food I've ever had. No flavor whatsoever. I ordered extra sauce thinking this was a cool feature of the order online function and would allow me to dip my egg roll in the sauce. Instead, it was like a watery soup instead of regular general tso sauce. Despite the extra sauce, there was no flavor to the sauce. I'd never go here again.

The food was delicious and plentiful and the egg roll was one of the best I've ever eaten. We got the $6.35 lunch take out and ordered 5 different entrees and all of us were very satisfied with our choices.

This was my first time ordering from here and I expected the delivery to take a long time, but it actually came a lot quicker than expected. The fried rice was absolutely wonderful and so full of flavor. I will definitely be ordering from here as it's my favorite Chinese cuisine in Normal.

I ordered the large black pepper chicken and shrimp fried rice. i asked for no veggies in the chicken, and they gave me a container with about 5-6 forkfuls of chicken on it. Just dissapointing, and not much overall flavor in the whole meal. We had to add chinese sauces out of my fridge to the fried rice in order to give it any flavor. The shrimp almost looked boiled. No flavor. 0/10, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
